Social media are like comparison machines. We constantly measure our lives against others, especially people who ‘do it better’. As a result, we never feel ‘good enough’. They make us jealous, envious, indignant and insecure.
The algorithms of social media influence us in what we think, find and feel. And social psychology shows: just when you think you are immune to that influence, you are susceptible to it.

5 tips to keep your social media use fun

A life without social media may sound ideal in some ways, and some people do it. But the reality is that not everyone can or wants to do without social media, because it is part of our work and/or offers benefits, such as building a network.

Limit the number of platforms. Choose to be present on one or two platforms that, for example, provide you with the most business benefits,  european union phone number or where you get the most pleasure from. For example, LinkedIn and Instagram.
An extra tip: if you want to be present on a platform like Instagram from a business perspective, but quickly fall back into your addictive behavior, you can consider having someone else manage your account. If you don’t have the budget for that, you can also look for an Instagram buddy with whom you agree to maintain each other’s account.
Be selective in who you follow or allow into your network. Choose people who have a positive influence on you  strengthen your social media campaigns with valuable feedback by making you laugh, inspiring you or making you feel stronger. An
